Gatwick North or South: meeting your driver
How a Gatwick pickup works at the North and South terminals — where your driver waits, why the terminal matters, and live fares to London.

Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, a few minutes apart by a free shuttle. Being met at the right one is the difference between walking straight to the car and dragging cases across the airport.
North or South: check your ticket
Your ticket shows the terminal and we confirm it from your flight on the day. The two are joined by a free shuttle that runs every few minutes, which is easy with hand luggage and a chore with a family’s cases — so we meet you in the hall your flight actually arrives into.
North Terminal
Used by British Airways, Emirates and a share of easyJet among others. Your driver waits in the North arrivals hall at the exit from customs, with your name on a board.
South Terminal
easyJet’s main base, plus airlines such as Vueling and Wizz Air. It is the busier, rail-connected terminal; your driver waits in the South arrivals hall at the exit from customs.
Allocations change, so your ticket is the authority — and because we follow the flight, a late terminal change simply moves the meeting point.
What happens after you land
We book against your flight number, so an early or late landing moves the pickup and not the price. Waiting time is counted from landing, so a long reclaim does not cost you anything.
If you can’t see your driver
- Stay inside the arrivals hall. Your driver is waiting inside, not at the kerb or in a car park — walking out is the most common way to miss each other.
- Check your phone. Your driver’s details and the meeting point are on your confirmation, and we message on the day.
- Call us. The office is open 24 hours on 020 8742 2888 and can reach your driver straight away.

Questions, answered.
Which Gatwick terminal will my driver go to?
The one your flight arrives into. We confirm it from your flight number on the day, so a terminal change simply moves the meeting point.
How much is a chauffeur from Gatwick to central London?
A Saloon starts at £124 at an ordinary time, with the airport fee included. Your quote shows the exact price for your address and time.
Is the shuttle between North and South free?
Yes, and it runs every few minutes. With us you should not need it: your driver waits in the hall your flight arrives into.
