Stansted arrivals: meeting your driver

Stansted is the simplest of the big London airports to be collected from: one terminal, one arrivals hall. The only thing that takes time is the airport itself, so here is what to expect.
One terminal, one meeting point
Depending on your gate, you reach the main building on foot or by a short driverless train, then go through passport control and reclaim. After customs everyone comes out into the same arrivals hall, and that is where your driver waits with your name on a board.
Stansted handles a lot of early-morning and late-night flights. We track every one, so if you land at 11pm instead of 9pm the car is there at 11pm. A pickup between 10pm and 6am carries a 15% night supplement, which is in your quote before you book.
If you can’t see your driver
- Stay inside the arrivals hall. Your driver is waiting inside, not at the kerb or in a car park — walking out is the most common way to miss each other.
- Check your phone. Your driver’s details and the meeting point are on your confirmation, and we message on the day.
- Call us. The office is open 24 hours on 020 8742 2888 and can reach your driver straight away.
