How it works

Met at the door, settled in advance.

Chesham Place carries embassy traffic but keeps a clear kerb at the hotel — drivers hold position with diplomatic patience.

01

No meter, ever

Airport, station or cruise terminal, the fare is agreed before you set off — tolls and London charges already counted in.

02

Flight tracked inbound

Landing into London? We meet you in arrivals with a board and bring you to The Hari on the real arrival time, an hour of waiting built in.

03

Quiet and discreet

Clean, current, unbranded cars and chauffeurs who understand that the best service is the kind you barely notice.

04

Met at the door

Your chauffeur stands at The Hari exactly where the doormen expect pre-booked cars — no circling the block, no phone tag, no scanning the rank.

Local knowledge

Good to know about The Hari.

Local timing

The Belgravia one-ways loop generously — trust the driver’s lap of Belgrave Square rather than the app’s straight line; it is the fast way.

Around the hotel

Belgrave Square, Sloane Street, Eaton Square, Harrods are all close by — several walkable, the rest a short run with the car held between stops.

The inbound leg

Flying in, your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board, tracks the flight, and delivers you to The Hari rested — 60 minutes of airport waiting always included.

Weddings and dinners

For weddings, board dinners and delegations we run coordinated multi-car pickups from the door — one booking, one invoice, every guest accounted for.

Nearest Underground

The closest station is Victoria and Hyde Park Corner. Handy for a light, single trip; less so with cases or a tight connection, which is where the door-to-door car earns its keep.

Beating the peak

For London City, the road runs freest early — before the morning build-up and after the evening one. Tell us the flight and we’ll name the pickup time rather than leave you guessing.

Arriving and leaving The Hari well

The Hari opened in 2016 and has spent the years since earning its name for its fireside lounge and Belgravia softness. Guests who choose it tend to mind how the day runs, not only where it ends — and the transfer is where that care is most often lost. A pre-booked car puts it back: one driver, one price, and a plan for the door before anyone reaches the kerb.

Chesham Place carries embassy traffic but keeps a clear kerb at the hotel — drivers hold position with diplomatic patience. Heathrow sits about 40–55 min from here in ordinary traffic, and every other terminal, station and port is priced the same transparent way. On the inbound leg your driver meets you inside arrivals with a board, watches the flight for delays, and holds the car free for an hour — so an immigration queue never becomes a missed connection.

The Belgravia one-ways loop generously — trust the driver’s lap of Belgrave Square rather than the app’s straight line; it is the fast way. That's the whole of it: agree the fare, forget the meter, and let the driver mind the route while you mind the day. Belgrave Square, Sloane Street, Eaton Square all sit within easy reach, and an hourly booking turns them into an afternoon rather than three separate fares.

Good to know

The Hari
questions.

Anything else — call us any time on 020 8129 4999.

What does a car from The Hari to Heathrow cost?

Expect £55 for a saloon to Heathrow and £70 to Gatwick, each fixed in advance. Weighed against a metered taxi, the value is the certainty: one price, confirmed in writing, whatever the M4 happens to be doing.

Which entrance should I use at The Hari?

Chesham Place carries embassy traffic but keeps a clear kerb at the hotel — drivers hold position with diplomatic patience.

Why book a car rather than take the tube?

Victoria and Hyde Park Corner is closest on foot. The tube's fine unladen, but hauling luggage down to a platform, changing once or twice, then queuing for a cab at the far end rarely saves the time it promises — which is the gap the car fills.

What about getting to the Eurostar?

Yes — £45 to St Pancras, and worth it on a Eurostar morning: no changing lines with cases, no queue for a taxi at the far end. The driver knows the drop-off nearest check-in.

Do you carry seats for children?

Of course. Travelling with children is exactly where a pre-booked car earns its place: the seats are in and adjusted before you come down, not improvised at the door.

Will my cases and a golf bag fit?

It depends what you're carrying: two big cases fit a saloon comfortably; beyond that we'll send an estate or the V-Class. Golf clubs, ski bags and prams are all fine with a word ahead.

Will I be charged extra for the Congestion Charge or ULEZ?

Yes — being central, the Congestion Charge and ULEZ apply, and both are baked into the fixed price. Worth comparing against quotes that quietly add them at the end.

“Professional, reliable, and always on time. P5 Chauffeurs never lets you down.”
