How to Book a Chauffeur in London
If you have never booked a chauffeur, the process can seem more formal than it is. In practice it is simpler than booking a flight. Here is the whole thing, step by step, so you know exactly what to expect.
The entire process comes down to three stages: get a quote, confirm the details, and travel. Here is what each involves.
Step 1 — Get a Quote
Start with the essentials: your pickup point, your destination, and the date and time. For an airport transfer, add your flight number. You will receive a fixed, all-in price for the journey and the vehicle class you choose — not a meter estimate that changes later. Compare vehicles at this stage if you are unsure which you need; we are happy to advise based on passengers and luggage.
We'll text or email your fixed price within the hour. For an instant quote now, call 020 8129 4999 .
Step 2 — Confirm the Details
Confirm your passenger numbers, luggage, and any extras — child seats, meet-and-greet, additional stops. Once booked, you receive confirmation, and the day before travel we send your chauffeur's name, photo and the vehicle's make, colour and registration. From that point everything is in place and there is nothing further you need to arrange.
Step 3 — On the Day
On the day, simply be ready at the agreed time. For airports you do not even need to do that — just land, because we are tracking the flight and your driver adjusts to it. Payment is settled in advance or on account, so there is nothing to sort at the kerb. Your chauffeur handles the rest, from the luggage to the route.
If you would rather talk it through, a phone call is always the fastest way to a confirmed booking. Call us any time on 020 8129 4999 and we will handle the rest.
Questions, answered.
What information do I need to book a chauffeur?
Your pickup, destination, date and time — plus your flight number for airport transfers, and your passenger and luggage count so we recommend the right vehicle.
How far in advance can I book?
As far ahead as you like, and often at short notice too. Booking earlier is wise for peak times such as early mornings, Friday evenings and event days.
How and when do I pay?
Payment is settled in advance or on a corporate account, so there's nothing to pay the driver at the kerb. The price is fixed at the time of booking.
