Chauffeur Cars for Client Entertaining in London
You've booked the table at a Mayfair restaurant, sorted the wine list, briefed the team on who's coming — and then the evening nearly comes apart because a client is stuck circling Berkeley Square looking for a parking space, or standing on the pavement trying to flag a cab in the rain. The car is part of the hospitality, not an afterthought to it.
A chauffeur pickup means the client's evening starts the moment they get in the car, not the moment they arrive. No app to download, no driver they've never met asking them to confirm a name in a car park. We collect from their office or hotel, brief the driver on the destination and any timing around a second venue, and keep the car on standby if the plan involves moving from dinner to a bar afterwards.
Discretion Is Part of the Job
Client entertaining often involves conversations that shouldn't spill outside the car — deal terms, personnel changes, things said after a second glass of wine. Our drivers are used to being invisible: no chat unless invited, no phone out, no questions about where you've been. That matters more than people expect until the first time it doesn't happen with someone else.
Handling the Awkward Bits
Client entertaining rarely runs to a clean schedule. Dinner overruns, someone suggests one more drink, a client needs dropping at a hotel across town at 11pm on a Tuesday. Because pricing is fixed and agreed upfront rather than metered, a longer evening doesn't turn into an argument about the fare — we agree the scope when you book, and if plans shift on the night we sort a fair adjustment on the spot rather than let a meter run.
What It Costs
A chauffeured evening covering pickup, a wait during dinner, and drop-off typically runs from around £120-£220 depending on wait time and distance covered, booked in an E-Class or S-Class depending on how many guests you're moving. Call 020 8129 4999 and tell us the shape of the evening — we'll quote a fixed price before anyone gets in the car.
Questions, answered.
Can the car wait outside the restaurant during dinner?
Yes. Tell us roughly how long dinner will run when you book and we'll build the wait into the fixed price, so there's no separate waiting charge sprung on you afterwards.
Can you move between two venues in one evening?
Yes, this is common for client entertaining — dinner followed by a bar or a private members' club. Give us both addresses when booking and we'll plan the timing and price it as one job.
What if the client wants to be dropped somewhere different at the end of the night?
Just let the driver know. As long as it's within a reasonable distance of the original plan we'll accommodate it and settle any difference fairly rather than leave you guessing.
