Can I smoke, vape, eat or drink in the car?

Smoking and vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed in our vehicles. Every car is kept clean and free of smoke and other strong odours before each journey, so the next passenger finds it as you did.

Food and drink

Eating and drinking in the car is at your driver’s discretion. Ask them before you open anything. A sealed bottle of water or a lidded coffee is usually fine; hot food, open drinks and anything likely to spill or leave a smell are better saved for the end of the journey.

If something is spilled

Tell your driver straight away so it can be dealt with before it marks the seat. For a long journey or a celebration where you would like drinks on board, say so when you book through our special request guide, and we will confirm what can be arranged.
