Hybrid & Electric Chauffeur Cars in London
London's Ultra Low Emission Zone and Congestion Charge have pushed most professional chauffeur fleets, ours included, towards hybrid and electric executive vehicles over the last few years - not as a marketing point, but because it's now the practical way to operate in the city.
If a lower-emission car matters to you specifically - for a corporate sustainability policy, or simply preference - you can request a hybrid or electric vehicle when booking, and we'll confirm availability against the fleet for your date and vehicle class.
What's Available
Hybrid executive saloons (Mercedes E-Class and equivalent) are the most widely available option across the fleet and suit almost any booking type, from airport transfers to hourly hire. Fully electric options are available on a smaller number of vehicles and for shorter London journeys, where charging logistics are less of a constraint than on a long motorway run to a distant airport.
Does It Change the Price?
Generally no - hybrid vehicles are priced the same as their petrol/diesel equivalent in the same class. Fully electric bookings are quoted individually since availability is more limited, so call ahead rather than assuming it's guaranteed for every date.

Is a hybrid car the same price as a normal executive car?
Yes, in almost all cases - hybrid saloons are priced the same as the equivalent petrol/diesel vehicle in the same class.
Can I request a fully electric car for an airport transfer?
It depends on the route and charge range on the day - electric vehicles suit shorter London journeys best. Call ahead with your route and we'll confirm whether it's available.
Do hybrid or electric cars avoid the Congestion Charge?
Ultra-low-emission vehicles can qualify for discounts under TfL's rules, but this changes periodically - our fixed price already accounts for any charges that apply, so it isn't something you need to track yourself.
