Planning a country-house or spa weekend from London
Coordinate hotel arrival, treatments, luggage and the journey home for a quieter break outside the city.

Choose the stay before fixing the transport
Start with the hotel reservation and the part of the visit that matters most: a treatment, dinner, walk or celebration. Confirm check-in, checkout and any separately reserved activity with the venue. A room booking does not necessarily include a spa appointment or early access to facilities.
Use the full property address and postcode when requesting transport. Country hotels can share similar names, and a general village destination may not identify the correct entrance.
Check access and the arrival routine
Ask the property about gates, reception location and any instructions for arriving after dark. Tell P5 about a narrow approach, luggage assistance or a passenger who needs to avoid steps. Describe the requirement rather than assuming the venue and vehicle will match it automatically.
If a treatment has a fixed start time, allow for arrival, check-in and changing. A predicted road journey time should not consume the entire gap before an appointment.
Decide whether the car is needed during the stay
For a hotel-based weekend, separate outward and return transfers may suit. If you plan to visit another village or restaurant, give those addresses and timings when asking for a quote.
A transfer does not include an on-call car throughout the weekend. Ask about availability and pricing for any additional journey before committing to plans that depend on it. Hotel staff may also need advance notice of late returns.
Make the return practical
Choose a collection time that works with checkout and the last activity. If you want lunch after checkout, confirm where luggage can be kept. Allow for any extra bags or purchases when checking vehicle size.
Keep the return confirmation accessible and contact P5 if the departure location changes. The hotel entrance used for arrival may not be the best collection point during an event or when access arrangements change.
Plan the next step
Check your journey price
Enter the addresses, date, passengers and luggage to check the price. If your itinerary needs team approval, wait for a confirmed fixed fare before paying. Your confirmation sets out the agreed journey and included charges; changes and extra waiting may cost more.
